Rachel and I are having a blast making all of these fun wedding videos. Looks like The Sunday Saloon is moving a long nicely. So much fun working with my best friend. Making newlyweds happy by giving them some clips from their special day is pretty darn fulfilling, too. Here’s a few more wedding videos we just posted over the last month. So pumped on how these are all coming out. Enjoy!
We also had the chance to work with Ryan Oettinger again. He’s a great MC and a great DJ. Hope we get to cross paths again someday! Here’s a few photos I snapped of him doin his thang…
I am absolutely in love with the northwest. My wife and I shot a wedding for her best friend in Oregon a couple weeks ago. It was so incredibly beautiful. We drove up 101 to get there, taking our time to see the redwoods. Here’s a few VSCO shots from the trip. Can’t wait to head back up the coast again someday.
Had fun shooting and editing a wedding video for this lovely couple, who just got hitched in their parents gorgeous garden backyard. My wife and I got married in her parent’s backyard garden, too. I highly recommend it. Enjoy another musical vignette from The Sunday Saloon!
I’m so excited. I’ve been working with a few friends to create a short animated film. It’s about two kids, a young boy and girl. On a distant alien planet, with only one tiny island for the girl and her tribe, and one giant continent for the boy and his tribe, they meet after being completely unaware of the other tribe. But really, it’s about finding out what we’re all made of and what we’re made for… and what all of us seem to crave… love.
I love Pixar, and I love Disney… even though this will have it’s own animation and illustration style, taking Tigercaster to the next level, it will for sure have a ton of influences from Pixar and Disney animations… especially old classic Disney films like Peter Pan, Jungle Book, and Alice in Wonderland. I also love the classic use of the multipane camera. You’ll see a lot of animations with this technique in our short…
Here are a few sketches from Robinson Wood to help develop the boy’s character. I can’t tell you how fortunate I feel to be working with him and the rest of the team, including Cheryl Isaacason and Mckenzie Laird.
Robinson passed along this animation from Vimeo. I really dig it. It has the type of look I’d like to tap into a little for our animation. I can’t wait to finish this for all of you! Stay tuned!!!
In addition to all the motion design I’ve been doing, you may have seen a few wedding videos pop up here and there. I love doing these, especially because I get to do it with my wife. I am so proud of everything we’ve done, especially our most recent video for Jeannette and Mike. We got to shoot with Jeff Newsom that day, too… which really inspired us to be more photographic with our shots. It was a really neat experience, and I think it really paid off. Here’s their video… So pumped on it. Love these two newlyweds!
